A Real Reason Behind It All. 

Food was my whole world — until eventually, the pace and pressure of restaurant kitchens caught up with me. Physically, mentally, emotionally - I was burnt out. Properly. Stepping away was the only option. So I did. I took time to travel — slowly, quietly, without a plan. And in that space, I found myself returning to the one thing I still had the energy for: cooking simply, gently, and just for myself. Nothing fancy. No timers, no performance. Just real food — vegetables, beans, grains, herbs — cooked with intention, and a kind of care I had forgotten in the noise of high-performance restaurant life. And something unexpected happened. I started to feel better. My energy steadied. My sleep improved. My mind softened and lifted. My gut calmed. It turns out the old saying is true: you really are what you eat. And when you eat food that’s rooted in whole ingredients, high in fibre, kind to your gut, and cooked with genuine care… your body responds. Your mind, too. When I eventually moved home, I began cooking this way for my family. Watching the difference it made to them — not just the convenience, but the comfort, the nourishment, the ease — was the spark that became PACKED. PACKED is the food that healed me. It’s the food I fed the people I love. And now, it’s the food I make for you. For busy parents. For older parents. For anyone juggling more than a few things and still wanting to eat well. No stress. No chopping. No preservatives. Just real, nourishing food, made by someone who learned the hard way how much it matters.
